Retirement of Kathy Hanks
Savings Bank of Walpole (SBW) announces the retirement of Kathy Hanks, Branch Manager of the North Meadow Plaza and Village branches in Walpole. Her retirement, effective May 1, concludes a remarkable 46-year banking career, including 21 years of leadership at SBW.
Kathy’s career is defined by a deep commitment to service, leadership, and community. She began her banking career in 1980 at Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City, where she quickly gained experience in a fast-paced financial environment. Her path took her from Alaska to New England, building expertise in consumer lending, cash management, and customer relationship banking.
In 2005, Kathy joined Savings Bank of Walpole as Branch Manager of the North Meadow Plaza and Village branches. She has been a steady and trusted presence in the Walpole community, guiding her teams through change while maintaining the personal service and local connection that define SBW.
