Jeffrey Smith Welcomed as Vice President, Commercial Portfolio Manager
Savings Bank of Walpole (SBW) is pleased to welcome Jeffrey Smith back to the Bank as Vice President, Commercial Portfolio Manager. Smith brings more than two decades of banking and finance experience to SBW’s Commercial Lending team.
Smith returns to SBW from New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp (NHMB), SBW’s affiliate organization, where he most recently served as Vice President, Corporate Treasurer and Investment Officer. In his new role, he will work closely with SBW’s commercial lenders and customers, helping businesses manage their ongoing credit needs while providing the responsive, relationship-focused service that is central to the Bank’s approach to commercial banking. Throughout his career, Smith has developed extensive experience in treasury management, investment portfolio oversight, liquidity strategy, financial analysis and commercial credit review. Earlier in his career, he served as a Commercial Credit
Analyst with Connecticut River Bank, N.A., and held investment analysis positions with Cambridge Associates LLC in Boston.

Smith earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Keene State College, where he was a member of the Economics Honor Society, and a Certificate in Accounting from Franklin Pierce College.
