The Savings Bank of Walpole was founded in the rural community of Walpole in 1875. The bank grew and opened a branch office in the city of Keene 117 years later. Learn the history of this 150-year success story, including the infamous bank robbery that played an important role in the formation of the bank, the founding of the bank in 1875, the nature of life in Keene when the bank made its debut there in 1992, and more.
