SBW West Street branch renovations begin on Monday March 18th
Savings Bank of Walpole has announced they’ll begin renovating their West Street branch in Keene on March 18. The branch will remain open for business during construction and the Bank estimates the project will be completed by mid–May.
The renovations will showcase many new features including a spacious, open layout, with private offices and a comfortable lounge area, new and improved state-of-the-art technology plus an enhanced drive-up ATM. In addition, the branch will have Universal Bankers who, in addition to handling deposits and withdrawals will also be able to open accounts and assist customers with loan applications. “We’re excited about what we’re calling ‘the brand new, good old Savings Bank of Walpole’ at West Street,” says Mark Bodin, President for Savings Bank of Walpole.
“The changes we’re making are designed to provide our customers with added convenience along with features designed to offer an even better banking experience from SBW – the community’s truly local bank.”
Bodin says that although the branch will remain open during most of the
renovation, there may be a few days when it may close temporarily. “In the
event that our West Street branch is closed for a day or two, we want to remind
customers that we also have two other branches located right
here in Keene at 84 Marlboro Streetand 817 Court Street. And, we’re
also encouraging customers to use our freemobile banking with mobile deposit.”
