SAVINGS BANK OF WALPOLE SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE GARNERS DONATIONS FOR LOCAL SCHOOLS
Keene, NH — Savings Bank of Walpole (SBW) recently concluded a month-long school supply drive to collect supplies for schools in our Monadnock region. During the month of August, the Bank set up drop-off boxes at all seven branches in an effort to garner donations from customers and employees. Donations included crayons, binders, backpacks, folders and much more.
“This year was a success as we collected a wide range of school supplies for all grades,” says Danielle Ruffo, Vice President of Community Engagement and Marketing for Savings Bank of Walpole. “As a bank that’s committed to giving back to our community, helping local schools is very important to SBW and our employees. Next year, we hope to expand our efforts by collecting a larger number of items so we can help additional school districts.”
