Savings Bank of Walpole’s Tamara Richardson Named Vice President, HR Diversity and Inclusion Officer for New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp

Keene, NH – Savings Bank of Walpole (SBW) is pleased to announce that longtime employee Tamara Richardson has been named Vice President, Human Resources Diversity and Inclusion Officer for New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp (NHMB). In this role, she will ensure SBW, its sister banks, Merrimack County Savings Bank (the Merrimack) and Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB) and NHTrust prioritize the enhancement of cultural diversity and inclusion while promoting and communicating workplace expectations to employees.

For over 20 years, Richardson’s contributions have made her an invaluable member of SBW’s leadership team. Her experience in both the banking industry and human resources have been instrumental in terms of enhancing employee relations and ensuring a positive and encouraging work environment. In fact, Savings Bank of Walpole has been ranked as one of the 85 Best Banks to Work for in the United States by American Bankers Association (ABA) consecutively for the past three years.

A Veteran of the United States Air Force, Richardson is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and American Payroll Association.

She earned her Associates in Arts Degree in Liberal Studies from Community College of Vermont. Outside of the office, she’s involved with a number of local community organizations and charities and also serves as Secretary of the Pathfinders Snowmobile Club in Weathersfield, VT. Richardson resides in North Springfield, VT with her husband, Warren.
