$4.4k Donated to Connecticut River Conservancy to Support Local Environmental Efforts
Savings Bank of Walpole recently donated $4,400 to the Connecticut River Conservancy (CRC), an organization dedicated to protecting and restoring the Connecticut River and its tributaries throughout New England.
The donation was made in connection with a recent SBW initiative encouraging customers to go paperless by switching to eStatements. For each switch, the Bank donated $5 to the CRC.
“When people choose eStatements, they’re not just simplifying how they receive information, they’re doing something environmentally friendly by saving paper,” said Mark Bodin, President of Savings Bank of Walpole. “This initiative gave us a chance to link a simple action to a greater good. We’re proud to support the Connecticut River Conservancy and the vital work they do in our community and beyond.”
