Now Accepting Applications for the Julie Tewksbury Scholarship for Working Mom
Keene, NH — Savings Bank of Walpole is now accepting applications for The Julie Tewksbury Scholarship for Working Moms. Now in its sixth year, the annual Bank-sponsored scholarship supports working mothers who are pursuing personal and professional growth, and who are striving to make an impact in their careers and communities.
Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded. Applications are available online at walpolebank.com/scholarship-for-working-moms/, and must be submitted by Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
The scholarship honors longtime Bank employee Julie Tewksbury, who served as Senior Vice President of Operations before retiring in 2020. During her 28-year career—including 15 years on the Bank’s leadership team—Julie was a champion for employee development, particularly for working mothers balancing career advancement with family life.
Julie’s commitment to community extends beyond the workplace. She continues to support local nonprofits and small businesses, reflecting the same spirit of leadership and service that inspired the creation of this scholarship.

Applicants must live or work in the Monadnock Region. To apply, candidates should complete the one-page application and submit a current resume along with one to two references. Scholarship recipients will be selected by a panel of community leaders, Bank employees, and Julie Tewksbury.
