Danielle Ruffo Promoted to Senior Vice President of Community Engagement and Marketing
Savings Bank of Walpole (SBW) is pleased to announce the promotion of Danielle “Dani” Ruffo to Senior Vice President of Community Engagement and Marketing, in recognition of her leadership in growing the Bank’s community engagement, marketing, and social media efforts.
Ruffo has been with Savings Bank of Walpole for 19 years. During that time, she has gained a broad understanding of the Bank and its customers through roles in Retail, Commercial Lending, Residential Lending, and Finance. In 2018, she was chosen to create and lead SBW’s Community Engagement program. Under her direction, this initiative has become an important part of the Bank’s business model and its connection to the Monadnock Region.
“Dani has taken an idea about how we could become more meaningfully engaged in our community and turned it into something that is now part of who we are as a bank,” said Mark Bodin, President of SBW. “Our highly visible presence across the region reflects the relationships Dani has built, the opportunities she has created for our employees to get involved, and her ability to connect our brand with the community we serve.”
Since launching the Community Engagement program, Ruffo’s responsibilities have grown to include SBW’s broader marketing, brand and social media efforts.
“Dani understands that being a community bank is about being connected to the people and organizations around you and finding real, constructive ways to contribute,” Bodin added. “She has helped bring that philosophy to life for SBW, while continuing to refine how we communicate who we are and what we stand for. This promotion is very well deserved.”
Ruffo’s career at SBW began after graduating from Keene State College. She is a lifelong resident of the region and has been actively involved with numerous local organizations throughout her career.
As Senior Vice President of Community Engagement and Marketing, Ruffo will continue to lead SBW’s efforts to strengthen its brand, deepen its community connections and find new ways for the Bank and its employees to make a positive impact throughout the Monadnock Region.
