New NHMB Corporators Announced: Pelkey, Daniels, Fitzgerald, Murphy, and Whitcomb
Savings Bank of Walpole (SBW) is pleased to announce the appointment of Barbara Pelkey, Beth Daniels, Deirdre Fitzgerald, Jeff Murphy, and Jeff Whitcomb as Corporators for New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp (NHMB). They were recently confirmed by vote at NHMB’s Annual Meeting.
Barbara Pelkey is an Accounting and Marketing Executive at Atlas Fireworks, a family-owned business she has helped grow into an internationally recognized entertainment organization. In addition to her business leadership, Barbara is an elite figure skater, longtime figure skating coach, and community mentor, leading youth synchronized skating teams across New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Beth Daniels of Keene is Chief Executive Officer of Southwestern Community Services, Inc., where she has served for more than 25 years. Under her leadership, SCS provides essential programs including housing, transportation, energy assistance, and early childhood education to residents of Cheshire and Sullivan Counties.
Deirdre Fitzgerald of Antrim is Executive Communications Manager at W.S. Badger, where she oversees public relations, brand communications, advocacy, and charitable giving. She plays a key role in advancing the company’s mission-driven work and community partnerships. She is involved in a number of local nonprofits including Hannah Grimes Center for Entrepreneurship, Monadnock Food Co-op, and MONIFF Film Festival.
Jeff Murphy is the owner of Brewbakers Café and Terra Nova Organic Coffee Roasters and a lifelong Keene resident. He has long been deeply engaged in the local community through nonprofit leadership, arts advocacy, youth sports coaching, and education, including his role as co-founder of Nova Arts.
Jeff Whitcomb of Keene is President of Communicators Group, a Keene-based marketing communications agency serving clients throughout the region and beyond, including Savings Bank of Walpole since 2006. He has been active in the community through leadership roles with the Greater Monadnock Collaborative Regional Chamber of Commerce and other local organizations.

Their responsibilities include electing members of NHMB’s Board of Trustees, voting on bylaw changes, and serving as community representatives, helping ensure the organization remains responsive to the needs of the communities it serves.
