Wally Reney Retires After Nearly Six Decades in Banking

Keene, NH – Savings Bank of Walpole (SBW) has announced the retirement of longtime employee Wally Reney, who has dedicated nearly six decades to a distinguished career in banking. Reney began his professional journey in 1965 at Cheshire County Savings Bank. After a successful tenure there, he joined SBW in 2000, where he played a pivotal role in building the Bank’s Business Development department and strengthening its presence in the Keene community over the past 25 years.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Reney has been a tireless advocate for the community. Over the years, he has served on 43 boards and organizations and dedicated 50 years of service to the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.
