Message to Our Customers, Staff and Community

I want to thank you for choosing Savings Bank of Walpole (SBW). Your trust in us has made it possible to serve as the Monadnock Region’s local bank for a century-and-a-half!

With your support, SBW continues to grow stronger than ever before.

In 2024, we put your deposits to work by providing $106 million in local loans, helping our community’s businesses succeed and families achieve their dreams of homeownership. As a mutual bank, we do not have shareholders to please – so our success is about much more than just numbers. For us, success means reinvesting in the people, organizations, and communities that make our region stronger.

People tell us all the time: “SBW is everywhere in the community.”

Our talented and committed staff are our not-so-secret, secret sauce. That’s why we’re proud to have been named by American Banker magazine as one of the Best Banks to Work For in the U.S. for the 8th consecutive year. During 2024, SBW staff made a meaningful impact in our community by participating in local events, volunteering at festivals, and contributing to important conversations about the future of our region. More than one-third of our employees serve on local boards, dedicating their time to nonprofits that strengthen our community. Altogether, SBW was able to support over 200 local organizations and initiatives across the Monadnock Region.

150 years old…and we’re just getting started.

In 2025 as we celebrate our 150th Anniversary, we’re honoring this special milestone with an even greater focus on giving back. From our “150 Good Deeds” initiative to other special activities, we’ll continue to strengthen the community we’re privileged to serve. Follow SBW on social media for stories, updates, and ways to join us in giving back this year—you won’t want to miss what’s ahead.

While we celebrate, we remain vigilant about protecting your financial security.

Please remember: You are the first line of defense when it comes to your account. Don’t be fooled into giving your information to a scammer. SBW will never ask for your passwords, one-time codes, authentication identifiers, or personal banking information via calls, texts, or emails. If you ever have concerns about a suspicious message, pause and contact us directly.

Sincerely,

Mark Bodin

President
