Savings Bank of Walpole Supports Keene Walldogs Magical History Tour by Becoming a Mural Sponsor
Keene, NH – Savings Bank of Walpole is excited to announce that they’re sponsoring one of the murals that will be painted during the Keene Walldogs Magical History Tour festival, which will take place in Keene on June 20-23. The Bank is sponsoring a mural called Keene Transportation Through the Years: Boston and Maine Railroad. In keeping with the event’s historical theme, the Bank-sponsored mural will be on Railroad Square.
“The Walldogs” are an internationally renowned organization of sign and mural artists who organize three to five-day festivals where hundreds of artists descend upon a village or small town to paint a series of murals. The Magical History Tour is designed to enhance downtown Keene through the creation of 15 original outdoor public art murals, all of which showcase the culture and the history of the Monadnock region.
“We’re really looking forward to the Walldogs festival in June and are very excited about our involvement as a sponsor of one of the murals,” says Mark Bodin, President of Savings Bank of Walpole. “We have such a rich history here in Keene – and throughout our community, so to capture it with creation of these murals is very unique and special. We’re really proud to help support the Walldogs festival and the ways it will engage and enrich our community.”
