Corporators have many important roles that help ensure the success of New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp and its sister banks – Meredith Village Savings Bank, Merrimack County Savings Bank, NHTrust and Savings Bank of Walpole.  A Corporator’s most important responsibility is the election of highly qualified people to act as members of NHMB’s Board of Trustees and act on any bylaw changes that come before them.   In addition, Corporators act  as community representatives to ensure that the organization is on track with regard to serving community needs and providing the company with feedback on the quality of services and personnel performance.

New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp, a shared services organization, was formed in 2013 when two New Hampshire-based community banks, Meredith Village Savings Bank and Merrimack County Savings Bank, formally affiliated – the first relationship of its kind in the state. This strategic partnership has positioned the banks to leverage each other’s strengths as they work together to advance a shared vision of maintaining and enhancing community banking standards and values. MillRiver Wealth Management joined as a third affiliate in 2015, combining the financial advisory divisions of MVSB and the Merrimack. Savings Bank of Walpole joined NHMB in 2018.

In 2020, MillRiver Wealth Management affiliated with the New Hampshire Trust Company and SBW Wealth Management to become NHTrust. NHMB combined assets total more than $2.6 billion. For more information, visit nhmutual.com.
