SAVINGS BANK OF WALPOLE INVITES PUBLIC TO “LIKE” FAVORITE BRANCH ON FACEBOOK DURING HOLIDAY DECORATING CONTEST

Branch with the most “likes” will receive $250 prize to give to designated charity

Keene, NH — Savings Bank of Walpole (SBW) is hosting a holiday decorating contest for its employees and encourages the public to weigh in by “liking” a favorite branch on Facebook, www.facebook.com/SavingsBankofWalpole/. Pictures of the Bank’s five branches will be posted on Friday, December 14th and page visitors can “like” their favorite over the weekend. The branch with the most “likes” will be announced on Monday, December 17th and receive a $250 prize. The money will then be donated to a local organization. Runners-up will receive $100 which will also be given to a local organization.

It’s a fun contest – but more importantly, it serves as another way the Bank can give back to our community by helping local organizations.”

Each SBW branch has designated a different charity in an effort to maximize the overall outreach into the community:

  • Court Street – Keene Housing Kids Collaborative
  • West Street – The Samaritans
  • Marlboro Street – Keene Community Kitchen
  • Walpole Village – Southwest Community Services
  • North Meadow Plaza – Greater Falls Warming Shelter
