Savings Bank of Walpole Announces Call for Entries to Community Calendar and Website Photo Contest
Contest begins Wednesday, May 1 and will be held in conjunction with NH Mutual Bancorp Affiliates
Keene, NH – The affiliated local community banks of NH Mutual Bancorp – including Savings Bank of Walpole (SBW), Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB) and Merrimack County Savings Bank (the Merrimack), are excited to announce a call for entries in their Community Calendar and Website Photo Contest. The contest is running now through Saturday June 15, 2019.
Winning photos will demonstrate a strong focus on community events and people enjoying the venues, attractions and local businesses of New Hampshire and also highlight the unique character and beauty of the state. Chosen images may be showcased in a 2020 calendar, and/or holiday cards and note cards, and displayed on the websites and social media accounts for New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp (NH Mutual Bancorp) and/or its Subsidiaries.
A $100 cash prize will be awarded for each winning photo – and contestants can submit up to a maximum of 10 entries. Judging of all submitted photography will be blind – the name of the photographer will not be known by the judging panel. Decisions will be based on suitability of the subject, quality of the photography, and adherence to the purpose of the contest.
“We’re excited to announce the Bank’s participation in this photo contest, and we encourage photographers of all skill levels to show us their local spirit by submitting entries,” says Mark Bodin, President of Savings Bank of Walpole. “There are so many amazing sites, landmarks and events in our community that we anticipate receiving a lot of entries.”
Winning photos for the calendar contest will be displayed in the 2020 community calendars for each of our affiliated local banks. They may also be selected for use in SBW’s annual holiday cards or other occasion cards. Winning photos for the website contest may be displayed on the websites and social media pages for each of the affiliated local banks.
