SAVINGS BANK OF WALPOLE’S KRISTEN NOONAN JOINS BOARD OF MONADNOCK UNITED WAY

Keene, NH — Savings Bank of Walpole is pleased to announce that Kristen Noonan, Community Engagement Manager for the Bank, has joined the Board of Monadnock United Way (MUW). Noonan was voted in as a member in January.

Monadnock United Way is dedicated to improving lives by mobilizing diverse partners and investing in programs and people to create long-lasting, measurable change in the community. Noonan, who has been actively involved with the organization for over 12 years, has served on the Board of two MUW agencies including The Samaritans, Inc. for six years and Keene Day Care Center for the past 12 years. In 2022, she joined the Monadnock United Way’s Investment Team and in 2023, ran the workplace campaign for SBW, working closely with MUW President Liz LaRose.

“I am excited to be on the Board of Monadnock United Way, especially after being actively involved in many aspects of the organization over the years and seeing the good things they do for our community,” says Noonan. “The fact that many of the local nonprofits are now working together and pooling resources because of the efforts of the Monadnock United Way, helps increase donations so they go further and benefit more organizations and people in our community. I look forward to seeing the programs grow and evolve!”

A longtime employee of Savings Bank of Walpole, Noonan has also been actively involved in a number of the Bank’s nonprofit initiatives including the annual Good Friends campaign and the DeMar Marathon. Outside of the office Noonan serves on the Monadnock Regional School Board and is also involved in a a number of the School Board’s committees.
