SAVINGS BANK OF WALPOLE WELCOMES PETER CARVELL AS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, COMMERCIAL LOAN OFFICER
Keene, NH — Savings Bank of Walpole is pleased to announce that Peter Carvell has joined their Commercial Lending team as Senior Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer, where he will focus on developing and implementing the Bank’s strategic vision for commercial lending and business banking products and services.
As a banking professional with nearly 30 years’ of banking experience, including overseeing the commercial banking division at Brattleboro Savings & Loan for the past 16 years, Carvell brings with him extensive banking experience. Industry-specific education includes the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School, the New England School for Financial Studies at Babson College, and the Mass Bankers Association School for Commercial Lending. Carvell has also received extensive training in leadership, business development, sales, financial statement analysis, and commercial relationship management.

Outside of work, Carvell played an integral role with a number of Brattleboro area nonprofits and organizations. He served on the Boards of Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation and Southeastern VT Economic Development Strategies, in addition to volunteering for the Vermont Bankers Association Commercial Lending Committee. He also served for nine years on the Board of Brattleboro Memorial Hospital including three years as Chair. Carvell is planning to transition his volunteerism & board participation to the Monadnock region as he settles in his new role.
