Savings Bank of Walpole Elects Two New Board Members

Keene, NH — Savings Bank of Walpole (SBW) is pleased to announce the election of Kathy A. Collinsworth and Susan L. Howard to their Board of Directors.

Kathy Collinsworth is Executive Director of the Monadnock Humane Society (MHS) where she is responsible for planning, organizing, managing and supervising all aspects of operations of the organization. Since joining the non-profit in 2016, she has helped significantly decrease the organization’s deficit through organizational assessment and program restructuring. Prior to joining MHS, Kathy served as President for Monadnock United Way for six years where under her leadership she successfully steered the organization’s fundraising initiatives, raising over $2M each year. Kathy has been a  corporator for Savings Bank of Walpole for several years and donates much of her time to many local civic and charitable organizations including Elm City Rotary and Giving Monadnock. Kathy lives in Keene with her husband.

For the past 41 years, Susan Howard has dedicated her professional life to higher education, serving as an administrator of both Financial Aid and Enrollment Services and Management at schools such as Dartmouth College, Antioch New England Graduate School and Franklin Pierce.

Her storied career includes serving on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA), an organization that is 4000 colleges strong with more than 6000 individual members. She recently recommitted to serving on the Board of the New Hampshire Higher Education Loan Corporations (NHHELCO) for another three years. Susan has served as a corporator for the Bank since 1997 and is a long-time resident of Walpole, NH.
